Let me tell you a story.
Rewind back to 837AD. A muslim woman was arrested and detained without charge by the Romans in one of their cities. It was an oppressor-oppressed situation. Out of frustration and helplessness, she kept calling the name of the Khalifa at the time, Mu’tasim. Kind of like a distress call. Not that he could have heard her voice though. In fact, they mocked her, saying it was hopeless. He didn’t hear her voice, but someone did, a man. He rushed to the Khalifah, hundreds of kilometres away, to relate what had happened.
When Mu’tasim heard what had happened, he responded with a simple response…
